The California real estate market is showing signs of recovery! This week’s HUD Home best value list does not have any California homes AGAIN! Here is the list, do you know someone who is purchasing out of state? These homes are amazingly priced:

HUD Homes Best Value List for the week of May 10th and How To Get Your NAID Number!

This week brings us no California Homes! Last week we didn’t have ANY homes on the list. Let this be your wake up call: the Real Estate market is shifting! The last 10 days I’ve been bombarded by agents calling on a HUD home I have listed in Pomona for only $110,000! I was surprised to hear how many Brokers don’t have their NAID number (Name, Address, Identification number) which is required if they want to submit an offer on HUD homes. I can’t stress it enough: GET YOUR NAID NUMBER! Its currently taking 4-6 weeks for Broker’s to get their NAID number once they submit the application so please don’t wait until you have a client that wants to submit an offer on a HUD home because you wont have it if you wait! My office has been offering to submit offers on behalf of Brokers without a NAID number (so at least their client’s aren’t penalized for their Broker’s booboo) as long as they promise that they will be sending out their paperwork to get approved for their own NAID.

Its really easy:

1. Go to www.HUDHomeStore.com
2. Click on NAID Application
3. Print out the forms: SAMS 1111 Bidder Application link
   http://www.hud.gov/offices/adm/hudclips/forms/files/1111sams.pdfSAMS 1111A Selling Broker Certification Link (The broker must sign and date the SAMS-1111A form twice (by the “X” under each column))

4. Complete, sign, and send accompanying documentation to your local HUD HOC:For applicants in AK, AZ, CA, HI, ID, NV, OR, WA, AS, GU, MH, and MP

   34 Civic Center Plaza, Room 7015
   Santa Ana, CA 92701-4003Call 1-800-CALL FHA (225-5342) for information regarding your application.
